Trofaconforto - Componentes para Calçado, Lda began its activity in September 1997, with 1 machine, 6 employees and a daily capacity of 1,000 pairs, dedicating itself since its beginning to the manufacture of polyurethane insoles.
In 1998, Trofaconforto acquires a new Polyurethane machine, replacing the existing one and having a daily capacity of approximately 4,000 pairs.
In 2009, it acquired an industrial building, which allowed it to optimize its manufacturing processes and offer its employees excellent facilities and working conditions, contributing to a significant improvement in working conditions.
In early 2011, with the aim of improving the quality of customer service, capacity and production quality, Trofaconforto acquires a new machine, built specifically for the production of polyurethane insoles, increasing its capacity to around 10,000 pairs daily.
In mid-2014, there is a new expansion of the facilities, doubling the covered area in the production and warehouse area.
Between 2015 and 2017, there are new investments in terms of increasing production capacity, changing the layout of the production and finishing areas, as well as a large investment in automation and robotics.
At the beginning of 2018, new investments appear, with the aim of diversifying the main business area, namely the production of insoles using vacuum and thermo-moulded systems.
Between 2019 and 2022, there are new investments in machinery, in order to increase production capacity.
In 2022, we achieved PME Líder status for the 6th Consecutive Year.
In early 2023, work began on a new expansion to the production and warehouse area.

We have in our range of products solutions of plant origin. Our BIO material is tested and contains 19% of vegetable origin. All our materials comply with REACH and CADS standards. Our material does not contain compounds of animal origin in its formulations.
